N.S.F.C. always encourages active parent involvement throughout the year, such as sharing information on a tradition, profession, hobby, etc. is greatly encouraged. Reading stories to the children, playing musical instruments for them, or sharing family cultures are some of the ways parents may become involved.

The school believes that when children are introduced to different cultures from a very early age, they will be better educated in understanding and accepting the differences.

One of the times that the parents are most involved is during the month of December when N.S.F.C. holds its international holiday event.

During this time, in every classroom, parents of different cultures and backgrounds are invited to bring in their food and traditions to the classrooms and introduce them to the children.
